HOW TO BECOME A MORNING PERSON
We’ve all said it at some point in our lives; “I want to become a morning person. It can’t be that hard.” But, have you ever taken the steps to actually make it happen? If you don't make a game plan, your goal is almost impossible to accomplish. At The Brand Girls, it’s our passion to help others succeed, so here are our tips to become a morning person:
1. Start small: It’s easy to say “ I’m going to start waking up at 6:00AM” when you wake up at 8:00AM, but if you change your wake-up time right away, your body is going to suffer. Start by setting your alarm 15 minutes earlier than the previous and do that until you reach your desired time.
2. Go to bed earlier: Worried about losing sleep if you wake up earlier than usual? Try going to bed 30-60 minutes early and that will help you wake up earlier. If you have trouble falling asleep, try reading or taking a bath and make sure to turn off your electronics to help you wind down.
3. Have something to look forward to: It will be much easier to wake up when you have something you want to do the next day. Plan a yummy breakfast or a fun workout. This will get your early day started on the right foot and have your feeling great! At The Brand Girls, we believe you cannot be your best until you feel your best, so plan something that will make YOU feel good.
