DEAR BG - NAILING THE INTERVIEW1. "I have a really important interview coming up - what are some methods or tips to leaving a lasting impression?""When leaving the interview space say something along the lines of... "Thank you for taking the time to connect with me today. I am extremely interested in this position and confident I can fulfil and exceed what you are looking for in a candidate based off of ......... (include how your past experience relates.)" Then... don't forget send a thank you email within 3 hours of the interview to EVERYONE you met along with a handwritten thank you card within 24 hours." - CEO + Founder of The Brand Girls Rachael Bozsik 2. Any advice for group interviews? " First, let's start with an understanding of why companies conduct group interviews. It is because they want to see how you naturally interact with others - most likely you are on a group interview for a company with a strong company culture, and one where you will be working with a team + customers on a daily basis. You are going to want to make sure you are social, connecting, smiling etc. Be very conscious of how you are interacting with others in the interview - chit chat with them prior to the interview starting and let them know it was nice meeting them when the interview is over (your interviewer will be watching.)" - CEO + Founder of The Brand Girls Rachael Bozsik 3. If a job application says "include writing samples..." what do I include? "If you have the opportunity to include more than one sample the key is to diversify (creative writing sample, interview article, press release etc.) You will want to include a link to google drive or Dropbox so they can see your content in an organized space. Make sure you save your pieces with informative names!"
