Q: I am a Senior and I am on the job hunt. Some of my friends already have jobs and I’m struggling to find one. Do you have any advice on improving my chances? A: "Biggest tip: DON'T COMPARE. It can be so frustrated to see people with jobs already and you’re still applying. A few people get the first job they apply for, for others it takes months, many graduate without any offers... it's all totally normal! Just remember that your job experience is as unique as you are. And it's more important to find the best fit than take the first thing that comes your way. Good luck!" - Rachael Bozsik, CEO + Founder of The Brand Girls Q:Do you have any helpful sources for finding internships in the fashion industry? Like marketing or PR within a big fashion company like Burberry or Chanel, etc? Thanks! A: "Freefashioninternships.com, ed2010.com, velvetjobs.com are all incredible resources. However your network is absolutely the strongest resource in your tool box! You never know who has connections within your network - your uncle may have a co-worker whose daughter works at Gucci, so be clear when articulating your goals to others! Also, I would definitely recommend checking LinkedIn and digging through your alumni network"
