As unfortunate as it is, anxiety is a very common issue in society today, and millennials are dealing with it at much higher rates than previous generations. Your first job is no exception. There are many different types of the disorder and dealing with it can feel annoying, tiring, and even embarrassing, especially in the workforce. Stay Busy: Most people who suffer with anxiety get so tired out from their stressors that they just want to sleep it off. However, it is much better to make plans after work so that you can have some work/life balance and your job isn’t your sole focus.
Fake It Till You Make It: When you’re anxious, it feels like the world can see what’s going on. Luckily, it’s been proven that faking a smile, saying affirmations or even doing some “power poses” can help you get into the mindset that you need!
Ask For Help: This tip can be the scariest of all. No one wants to feel weak, and it’s easy to think that seeking help does just that. It’s important to remember though, that you’re not alone, and there are many people who want to help you.
